About the Event

Judy Lee first brought the issue of China's new digital currency to our attention last year. Since then, the idea has gathered traction, and the ECB is now openly discussing the same idea. Many of you have expressed interest in learning more.  Blockchain is the technology behind many new developments enabling greater speed and security of supply chains. We will hear from two experts in the field, Marc van der Chijs, who spent many years living and working in China, and is now investing in cryptocurrency, and Michael Greenwald, MD at Tiedemann Advisers, a recognized thought leader on currency and trade policy and how this intersects with international relations. The session will be moderated by Arunma Oteh, former Treasurer of the World Bank and a capital markets expert. During her tenure at the World Bank, it issued the first blockchain bond.  She will discuss with them how the rapid changes in technology can affect corporate decision making and risk management and how board members ought to be thinking about these issues.

We look forward to having everyone on the call.
